Open year round Hitchcock Nature Center is home to the Loess Hills Lodge Interpretive Facility & offers visitors many opportunities for low impact recreation. We feature a RV & tent campground, primitive backpack camping, playground, archery range & picnic areas along with over 10 miles of hiking trails in the scenic Loess Hills.
Hitchcock Nature Center is open from 6:00 to 10:00 365 days a year. The Loess Hill Lodge Exhibit Gallery is currently operating on winter hours of 9:00 to 5:00 Friday & Saturday, 1:00 to 5:00 on Sunday. We are closed Monday through Thursday & major holidays.
