The Creative Quilters Guild of Dayton, Ohio began in 1982 for people of all levels of quilting ability from beginner to prize-winning experts and all areas of quilting interest from hand-quilted traditional to contemporary art quilt. Having just celebrated our 30th year, our current membership of 88 includes some of our charter members, quilting instructors both local and national, members whose quilts have been published, as well as a whole new crop of beginners! Besides our monthly meetings with programs of educational content, we also have technique workshops throughout the year, charity quilting outreach programs, our annual three-day retreat and various friendship groups that meet on a regular basis.
