She graduated in 1994 from the Medical Academy of Latvia and completed her internship at the State Children’s Hospital in Riga, Latvia. After immigrating to the , Dr. Halifman successfully passed her board exams and completed her pediatric residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has practiced since 2008 in Scarsdale, Westchester County, NY and lives in Scarsdale, NY with her husband and two children.
