Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper is one of the premier stops on the PGA's Game is for the Kids!
The John Q. Hammons Foundation, based in Springfield, MO and operating in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame serves as the host organization for the acclaimed Price Cutter Charity Championship (PCCC) presented by Dr Pepper on the Tour. This year marks the 25th Anniversary for the tournament. The PCCC is one of four Tour tournaments that have been around all 25 years.
In 2009, the Foundation distributed $687, to 43 charities in the Ozarks, bringing the 20-year total to $7,736, In addition to the monetary gifts, a $64,000 Habitat for Humanity home was also donated.
Since the tournament's inception in 1990, the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper has made a significant impact on the lives of children throughout the Ozarks. For 25 years, the proceeds from the tournament have helped children with special needs and have enhanced the lives of thousands of kids. This tournament provides children an opportunity to excel and to let their hopes and dreams take flight.
