Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA) provides you with safe, reliable, affordable and courteous public transit throughout 2,800 square miles of Mendocino County. MTA strives to reduce your transportation carbon footprint by giving you the option to leave your car at home and travel by bus. Check out the many opportunities to do so by visiting or read on. MTA's primary bus routes link communities throughout Mendocino County. We offer you local and long-distance bus service along Mendocino County's Pacific coastline from Gualala in the south to Fort Bragg in the north. You can also travel with us on local and long-distance buses along the inland Highway 101 corridor between Willits in the north to Ukiah and Santa Rosa in the south. Finally, we offer you bus service that criss-crosses the county between inland and coastal communities.

That's not all! We also offer you Dial-A-Ride taxi service in Fort Bragg and Ukiah: Just call and we'll come pick you up.
