Originally providing supports for 16 people, today over 80 people are supported! On January 1, 2018, Opportunity Foundation merged with TriCity CARES in Stanley so now OFI provides supports in a four county area, including Williams, McKenzie, Divide and Mountrail Counties. Licensed by the North Dakota Department of Human Services & nationally accredited by the Council on Quality Leadership, we strive to provide the highest quality services possible, focusing on the choices and preferences of each person supported.
The Developmental Disabilities Division of the North Dakota Department of Human Services is our main source of referrals. People may also purchase services directly from our agency. Our mission is "Opportunity Foundation is passionately committed to providing a full spectrum of individualized supports and services to people." It is our expectation that people participate in every aspect of their lives to the maximum extent possible all of the time!
