Michael, who has been picture framing since 1982, opened Frameworks Art and Frame at 5660 Mayberry Square in Mayberry in Sylvania Township, Ohio in 2003.

Michael Calandra is well known as an airbrush and pen and ink artist, painting a variety of subjects. He has the eye of an artist and knows how to pick the right frame and mats for your art. His work is owned by several celebrity clients, including Sir Anthony Hopkins, actor Gary Oldman, and the rock band Kiss. Michael works right on the premises, so stop in to see one of his many projects! He has appeared in Heavy Metal Magazine four times as a cover artist, Art Scene International, Airbrush Step-by-Step Magazine, Visual Arts Illustrated, and, in 2009 illustrated a children’s book, Stronghead Sam the Cowgirl Hero!
