Burns Photography is a locally owned and operated studio founded by Jack Burns. His son, Gary, now operates the business. The studio has over 55 years combined experience in creating quality portraiture, and utilizes state-of-the-art digital cameras, image enhancement, and computer graphics programs.
Gary Burns, Master Photographer, , has won numerous awards in both state and national competition. He has won several Court of Honors for his portraits (the highest award given by Professional Photographers Society of New York). His portraits have also been selected for inclusion in the Traveling Loan Collection (the highest award given by Professional Photographers of America). Walt Disney World and Eastman Kodak have also selected Gary's portraits for exhibition at Walt Disney World Epcot Center.
Gary received his Master of Photography Award in 1994 from the Professional Photographers of America and was accepted into The American Society of Photographers. He is the only Master Photographer in the North Country.
