Galt Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) staffing organization.
We are certified in states to hold service contracts with state government that are designed to expand employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. In the operation of our staffing services, more than 75% of our labor hours are generated by individuals with disabilities.
Through these government contracts and additional business in the private sector, Galt Foundation provides employment opportunities to more than 1,400 individuals each year. Employment then enables our employees to reduce their reliance on tax supported programs and services and creates new taxpayers.
The high quality of work provided by Galt Foundation employees, in turn, demonstrates the very real value of employing individuals with disabilities. With nearly 24 million adults in the United States having a disability, and with this group traditionally experiencing unemployment rates above 60%, this value clearly needs broader recognition from the employment community.
