LRC was founded in 1999 by three partners with diverse skill sets in Civil Engineering, Land Planning and environmental services. Their goal was a simple one: to provide site design and project management services on par with large firms of national acclaim, but with the client attentiveness and benefits of a smaller and more nimble team.

In subsequent years, the addition of new partners expanded the service offerings to include Land Survey and Landscape Architecture. We now have over 25 dedicated professionals in three office locations: Cromwell, Connecticut; Poughkeepsie, New York, and Clinton, New Jersey. Each office can act as branch office of another and we share professional resources and disciplines as the needs of our clients are best served.

The diversity of professional expertise – both principals and staff - allows us to assemble project teams with a comprehensive and collaborative approach to land development, redevelopment, or preservation processes. The five principals of the LRC Group represent over 150 years of combined experience which we bring to bear on our projects both in terms of leadership and in terms of technical expertise. We combine that experience with the fresh, innovative thinking of our staff professionals and recent graduates from some of the most notable engineering programs in the region.

LRC has Engineers licensed in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Vermont; Land Surveyors licensed in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine; and Landscape Architects licensed in the states of Connecticut, and New York.
