Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is an ELCA Lutheran Church that was incorporated in 1947. It moved into its current location at the corner of Midland and Lone Star in 1969 with the present sanctuary being completed in 1982. Community service has always been a focus at Trinity. During the 1990’s, Trinity dedicated part of its land to the Mercy Housing to build affordable housing. Currently, the church has a community garden to provide food for food banks, shelters, and help others in need. The congregation has about 300 members.
