Since 1968 Bear Valley, a small and spectacularly beautiful alpine village in the central Sierra Nevada Mountains, has been home to great music.
Expanded from a small affair at the local Lodge to a two-week event,tThe Festival has remained true to its classical roots, each year importing a symphony of musicians and guest artists performing a variety of musical styles.
The BVMF is overseen by a Board of Directors dedicated to continuing to bring exemplary music to a stunning location and fostered--in no small way--by a large group of volunteers and donors!
