Today we took several Veterans (including me) to Applebee's for lunch. It was packed and terrific. Thank you Applebee's!!! What a great thing for them to do. On top of that, a gentleman at the next table (himself a Vietnam vet, picked up the tab for the family members of the Veterans that were not treated for the promotion. We, in turn, did the same for other folks we didn't know. It was a very positive experience and it felt healing given the events of this week where so many people are mad at each other.
