In 1994 after 3 years of prototyping in a Garage The Bike Barn motorcycle cover was Born in Vancouver BC by a group of rain drenched bikers looking for an easy portable storage solution that provided quick and easy access for their motorcycle for when the sun shined and the open road called. With the help of metal fabrication experts and the local seamstress more used to repairing leathers than sewing Bike Covers, the Bike Barn motorcycle cover was born. The Bike Barn hit the market in a big way at the 1995 Detroit Bike Show and the Indianapolis Motorcycle dealer show. The immediate response was huge, little did we know that there was such a pent up demand, from both the domestic market and overseas. Within a year we had established a master distributor in Japan and the UK and had a distribution warehouse in the US.
Over the next few years the Bike Barn motorcycle cover was tweaked and improved and in 2000 we were able to introduce an industry first, a LIFETIME WARRANTY. The customer response to this was overwhelming, as it meant that never again would our customer ever have to pay full price to replace a Bike Barn for as long as they owned one. This move allowed us to build a dedicated and loyal following loyal following of Bike Barn users, who spread the word about the high quality and exceptional customer service and support. To date there are over 50,000 Bike Barn motorcycle covers protecting motorcycles all over the world, and yet our warranty claim represents less than .1% annualy.
The Bike Barn motorcycle is 100% North American manufactured and is produced in our state of the art fabrication center by a team of dedicated professionals, a far cry from those early days when each part was hand made lots that today we would consider to be prototype runs. Each frame is made to exacting standards, however the tent is the most critical component and each is sewn to fit like a tailored suit. We take pride in the fact that the Bike Barn will out last other covers as our testimonial section shows. However if you do need to replace a cover, no matter what year it was manufactured you can buy a replacement.
