University United Methodist Church is about introducing and reintroducing people to a God who is in love with them. We understand relationships to be the primary vehicle through which we see and experience God, so our hope is that by inviting people just like you into our lives with God, they are not only able to experience love and friendship, but God as well. Church is a way of life. It’s not something you “go to,” it’s something you are a part of.
No one belongs here more than you - this is a church for people who have been part of a church their entire lives, and people who’ve never stepped foot inside a church building. We welcome with open arms, people who have stepped away from church, people who are hoping for something new in a church, and people who are thinking about coming back to church.
Our church family is a community where mystery meets thought as we strive to be a kindred community: that loves as we have been loved, that welcomes everyone to the Table, and that is a light for justice and peace in our town and beyond.
