In 1947, Lennard Ag opened its doors for business and never looked back. With five acres of potatoes and one big dream, founder Wayne J. Lennard established his company, Wayne J. Lennard & Sons, Inc., as a farming industry leader in Michigan. At the same time, Wayne became involved in the Michigan Potato Council and helped develop the Michigan Potato Research Committee. Together with Michigan State University, the committee focused on the immerging research needs of the potato industry.
Lennard Ag is a family-owned, three-generations deep business that produces and delivers quality potatoes and grain crops. We combine strong industry traditions with cutting-edge agricultural practices, advanced technology, and the latest management practices and although the scope of the operations has significantly changed, our passion for growing quality crops, assisting in research efforts and building long-lasting business relationships remain deep-rooted.
