In the spirit of “This American Life,” “The Moth”, "Arctic Entries" and other urban storytelling events, The Mudroom will bring Upper Valley residents to the stage to share their personal stories, adventurous, mysterious, funny, sad and sweet. At each performance, five selected people will each tell a seven-minute long story relating to the show’s theme. Please submit your stories on the first of each month via email to mudroom@ and we will send you a response to let you know if your story is selected. The themes will be post on this site for each upcoming event.
Local musicians who apply may also be selected to play their music prior to the show or during intermission as well and there will be space for local artists to show their work. Who knew we had this much talent? We will host quarterly, Thursday evening performances at the AVA Gallery. Let the Mudroom welcome you and warm you with great, homegrown stories. Adults Only. $5 Suggested Donation. Each event will have local food and drink options showcasing all of the talent in the Upper Valley!
