Take Your Dog To Work Day - Friday, June 23rd!! Is your dog going to work with you - share their pictures working alongside of you! Mark your calendar for the 2017 Take Your Dog To Work Day® on Friday, June 23. Pet Sitters International created the day in 1999 to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to promote their adoptions.

Adorable Tia visited us on this first day of summer for her first puppy visit at AMC! Tia is an 11 week old Pomeranian - just so sweet! We look forward to seeing you again!

Happy First Day of Summer!!!! How are you and your pet's celebrating?! Post their picture taking a swim, relaxing by the pool, out on the boat with you, playing frisbee, just enjoying the fresh air. We would love to see and hear about whatever your pet enjoys doing during the upcoming warm summer months! Alert for the Collegeville/Trappe area - there have been confirmed cases of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, a disease spread by the dog ticks common in our area. This disease affects dogs and people, and symptoms include low blood platelets, bleeding, neurologic signs, and can even progress to death. The best way to prevent this disease is by practicing strict tick control on your pets and yourselves. Animal Medical Center recommends either Bravecto oral tick control or Vectra topical control - please call us if you have any questions or concerns!
