Carson's Lumber Mill

Custom Sawing is a service we offer to customers who have their own logs and want them sawn. We also maintain a large inventory of logs at our mill in a variety of species that can be cut to meet your specific needs.

In addition, we stock a large selection of lumber, both air dried and kiln dried. We handle common hardwood lumber, Oak, Walnut, Cherry and Poplar as well as the less common such as Sassafras, Basswood, Curly Maple, Ash, Quartersawn Oak and the list goes on. We have natural edge slabs in a variety of lengths and widths up to 50" x 14'.

Carson’s Lumbermill also caters to woodworkers looking for those ‘unique’ cuts of wood not found in your typical box stores. Our onsite dehumidification kiln enables us to offer kiln dried lumber to those who have indoor projects like furniture, cabinets, wood flooring, trim and baseboards.

Millwork is something we really enjoy. From baseboards and trims to crown moldings and fireplace mantels, we love to do it all.

Our onsite hardwood flooring operation is unique in that we have the capability to perform every step of the process from beginning to end. Carson’s Lumbermill is dedicated to making only Solid hardwood flooring which is one piece of wood from top to bottom regardless of the width or length. This allows us to provide a custom, one-of-a-kind hardwood floor to our clients at a competitive price. Usually referred to as plank style, the flooring we make is ¾” thick, tongue and grooved, generally in random widths of 3”, 4” and 5”. Different widths and thicknesses are available upon requests.
