MNCS currently operates an Elementary site (located at 127 N. 8th Street in Henderson) for grades K-6, and a Secondary / High School site (located at 210 Main Street in Henderson) for grades 7-12. The two campuses serve more than 200 students in grades K through 12th, with students from 13 surrounding communities within a 45-mile radius.

As a tuition-free public charter school, MNCS receives state funding and provides bus transportation to the communities it serves. MNCS follows a project-based curriculum where students each receive an individualized learning plan. While there is still a focus on basic skills such as math, reading and writing, MNCS teachers also focus heavily on 1) Environment experiential learning; 2) Project-based learning; 3) Responsive classroom; 4) Character education; and 5) Technology.

Students and parents can visit the school first hand for a tour of our facilities, meet the staff and students, and see the many exciting things Minnesota New Country School has to offer.
