The mission of the Blount County Rescue Squad is to provide public education, prevention and excellence in pre-hospital emergency care and specialty rescue/support services to the citizens and visitors of Blount County and surrounding counties, when called upon by local and state emergency response partners.
We will deliver these services through dedicated, professional, highly trained, skilled and certified emergency care providers with the knowledge and tools, integrity, accountability, and professionalism to any persons or agencies in need of such care.
We will foster community relationships by collaborating and teaching other emergency response organizations and the general public to increase the effectiveness of the EMS system in Blount County through community outreach events and programs.
