In 1870, just after the end of the Civil War, B. H. Morrissett left his trade as a cabinetmaker and established what was to become the oldest continuously operated business in South Richmond. The Morrissett family served their community for generations, until 1969 when Esther Morrissett sold the company to Robert G. Danielson.
In 1998, the firm was acquired by two of its employees, Richard M. Booker and Laurence F. Spiaggi. Dick and Larry are keenly aware of the 136-year tradition of service they have inherited, and continue to dedicate themselves to deserving the trust and confidence of the families they serve.
Today, this venerable company still serves the community, and maintains the tradition of service the Morrissett family started so long ago.
