Harvey’s roots go all the way back to 1939, when the original Harvey Construction Company was founded by Paul H. Harvey. By the 1960s, the firm had broadened its scope to include the general construction and renovation of hospitals, nursing homes, high-tech facilities, office buildings, schools, college buildings and wastewater treatment facilities.
Relationships have been the key to Harvey’s success since its inception. For example, Harvey has served as construction manager for Anheuser Busch in Merrimack, NH, without interruption since 1973. This serves as a classic example of Harvey’s loyalty and commitment. We are treated – and behave – as building team partners at Anheuser Busch, resulting in a successful partnership for more than 44 years.
Many of northern New England’s landmark structures are a testament to the reputation of Harvey, including the NYNEX building on Elm Street in Manchester; the Currier Museum of Art; Manchester City Hall Plaza; the Sherman Adams Building on Mount Washington; the restoration of St. Paul’s Church in Concord, NH; and the construction of Bean’s Freeport, ME, retail center – home of the indoor trout pond.
By surpassing the expectations of these and other clients, Harvey has earned a reputation for delivering high quality construction to many of the most recognized organizations in northern New England.
