Established in 1967 by Frank and Barbara Agius. Frank worked as a locksmith and was unhappy with the key machines available to him and decided to make his own. His initial invention was the Framon #1 "Dual Code Machine" - later modified with a tilting spindle to accommodate Medeco keys. Today Framon produces a total of 12 different models of key machines, Genericode ME software and several tools for the locksmith and door installer professions.
