Virant Family Winery Inc

The Virant Family spans three generations of wine making. The first two made their wines for family and friends. The third generation of Charlie and son Frank however, decided to go one step further and open their wines to the public. And so the Virant Family Winery was born.

Our wines are made the old fashioned way, with a lot of pride and patience. They have a fruity aroma, with a crisp grape taste, and a very pleasant after taste. We currently offer thirteen different wines with a new wine and two new juices very soon.

Our winery offers a relaxing atmosphere along with a snack food menu. On Saturday’s we offer Steak, Chicken, or Rib dinners along with music for entertainment. We would like to make your acquaintance, so please come and visit our winery on Atkins Road in Harpersfield, Ohio (just south of Geneva). If you cannot visit soon, please consider ordering our wines by the bottle or the case. We are now able to ship anywhere in Ohio. Many local stores stock our wines too. Our Wines:

Midnight Chambourcin: $
A dry red wine with a light oak and peppery plum flavor.

Cabernet Franc: $
A dry red wine with a touch of oak and peppery berry flavor with a smooth finish.

Mya's Majesty: $
A blend of red hybrid dry wines with a touch of oak, with a light peppery flavor with a buttery smooth finish.

Riesling: $
A semi-dry wine bursting with green apple bouquet, exciting smooth finish.

Red Velvet: $
A medium sweet red wine, with a vineyard fresh aroma and smooth finish.

White Silk: $
A medium sweet wine, with fruity bouquet exiting to the palate.

Chiffron: $
A medim sweet white blend, with a fresh aroma, pleasant after taste.

Delightfully Delaware: $
A medium sweet white wine, with an appealing taste and soft finish.

Pink Delight: $
A medium sweet blush, with a zesty appeal and pleasant aftertaste.

Chantilly Blush: $
A medium sweet blush blend, soothing to the palate with a very soft finish.
