We had a bit of rain last weekend at the Ridge. At least this racing duck loved the weather!

We'll be out to the Ridge in the afternoon on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Come say hi!

Armadillo Ana and I are off from racing this weekend as we prepare for the IRDC Conference Championship race next weekend at the Ridge. Until then, enjoy this photo from last weekend's All British Field Meet (ABFM) sharing PIR with the SOVREN racers.

Armadillo Racing shared Northwest Motorsports Council's post.
Big news this week! I attended the International Race Drivers Club (IRDC) meeting in Tukwila where the Board of Directors voted unanimously to join with the Cascade Sports Car Club (CSCC) of Portland to form a "for profit" corporation for the purpose of sanctioning budget endurance races. To be clear, the vote was to commit funds so that race dates could be secured to start a budget endurance series here in the NW. While details are to be worked out the tentative plans call for two races at a track near Seattle (The Ridge Motorsports Park or Pacific Raceways) and two races at Portland International Raceway. This is a huge commitment for two clubs that have each been hosting club sprint races and the occasional endurance races for around 50 years. If any two clubs know how to run great races it is these two. For those of you who read the enews and currently compete in LeMons and LuckyDog events, it may mean more races right here in the NW without travelling out of the area. Subscribe to our enews to stay up to date on this all things racing!
Big news coming from the Armadillo Racing eNewsletter: The IRDC and the Cascade Sports Car Club are coming together to create more budget endurance races in the Pacific Northwest. That means more races for folks interested in The 24 Hours of Lemons and Lucky Dog Racing League. . Follow along with Armadillo Andy's great newsletter and hear stories from local racers, mechanics, and petrolheads. Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Andy! #Seattle #PNW #Racing

Last weekend we were out at the Ridge for the only 24 Hours of LeMons race run in the Pacific NW. You have to love the artwork on the cars. This one seems to sum up one of the reason people love to race in LeMons/Lucky Dog type races.
