Sheesh. Scammers impersonate NIH to pretend to offer individuals grant money. The NIH only offers grant funds to researchers - through rigorous application requirements. The Federal Trade Commission reminds us the federal government will never call you to give you a grant, and will never call you and ask for personal or financial information.
Consumers are reporting another government imposter scam – this time the scammers are pretending to be calling from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Surprisingly, we're not seeing a lot of news sources reporting the Senate passage of the OTC hearing aid bill. The Hearing Loss Association of America notes here's what will happen next: "Now that the Over-the-Counter Hearing Aid Act of 2017 has been passed by both the House and Senate it will go to the president to sign into law. Once the bill is signed into law it will go to the FDA, who will begin drafting the rules and regulations for it. While the FDA has three years to complete that process we are hopeful that it will be done much sooner."
