In 1958, Ballet Guild was chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the Bethlehem Ballet Company, a non-profit civic organization. Founded by Marjorie Berlin Fink, it is a charter member of the Northeast Regional Ballet Association.
In 1968, the Ballet Guild performed what was considered the first full-length Nutcracker in the Lehigh Valley, with grant support from The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley. Since then, well over 100,000 school children have seen "The Nutcracker."
Ballet Guild has a legacy of attracting talented guest performers, instructors, and artistic directors, as well as a proved track record in preparing students for success.
