The Annual Georgia Peanut Festival will be held at Jeffords Park in downtown Sylvester, on the 3rd Saturday in October. The Georgia Peanut Festival is the record holder for making the world’s largest peanut butter sandwich, 12 foot wide by 12 foot long in 1987.
On the 3rd Saturday in October thousands of people will flock to Sylvester-Worth County to enjoy the festivities that will be going on throughout the day; if you haven’t been yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!
5K Peanut Run registration begins at 7:00 AM. At 10 the famous Peter Pan Peanut Butter Parade will begin! Bands, clowns, cars, local celebrities, politicians, beauty queens, and floats will line the streets of downtown Sylvester. This is a parade that you do not want to miss!
Everyone is invited to join us for a day of southern food, fun, and entertainment at the 50th Annual Georgia Peanut Festival. It is a fun event for the entire family.
