Helle's Fine Furnishings & Draperies, Inc. (formerly The Drapery Room) was established in 1957 by (Mac) McLaughlin. Using his talents as an upholsterer, Mac hired several seamstresses and began making draperies. Mac ran The Drapery Room until his retirement in 1977, when his daughter, Mary Helle, took over and continued Mac's commitment to quality and service. As the business grew and Mary expanded her services to the point where The Drapery Room name no longer fit the scope of her business, she changed the name in 1987 to the current Helle's Fine Furnishings & Draperies, Inc.

Although draperies are still 50% of our business, Helle's is well ensconced in all aspects of interior decorating and design. Whether it is draperies, flooring, wallcoverings, remodeling, furnishings, or just consultation, Helle's has earned a reputation for quality and satisfaction.
