Seacrest welcomes participation as a means of sharing experiences,suggesting improvements, and chiming in on posted conversations. To keep Seacrest Village focused, we have set some guidelines:
1. Claims of Copyright Infringement. If in good faith it is
believed that materials available on a Seacrest Village site infringe a copyright, the posting contact (or contact's agent) may send Seacrest Village Retirement Communities, a notice requesting us to remove the material or block access to it. If in good faith the posting contact believes that someone has wrongly filed a notice of copyright infringement against them, the Copyright Act permits SV to send a counter-notice. Details on notices and counter-notices are available on the Copyright Office site at
2. Seacrest Village website is moderated and all comments are
reviewed by the SV Web Coordinator (Corporate Director of Marketing). Monitoring will take place daily, by 5 pm.
3. To ensure exchanges that are productive, informative,
respectful of diverse viewpoints and lawful, the Corporate Director of Marketing in collaboration with the Corporate Director of HR and the Network Administrator will review all comments and SV will NOT post comments that are or include:
* Off Topic. SV will exclude comments not related to the
subject of the conversation. If someone has an idea for a subject, would like to provide feedback, or would like follow-up, SV will request the posting contact please write to us.
* Spam. Comments focused on selling a product or service, or
comments posted for a purpose of driving traffic to a particular website for personal, political, or monetary gain, will be excluded.
* Personal Attacks. If SV receives a post that disagrees with
the content, SV would like to hear from that posting contact, but ask that the posting contact refrain from personal attacks or being
disrespectful of others. Malicious intent and or participation not in
the spirit of civil conversation will be excluded.
* Illegal. Laws that govern 1) use of copyrights,2) trade
secrets, 3) discrimination, 4) harassment, etc., will be followed.
* Offensive Language. Comments including but not limited to,
profane or provocative language will be excluded (which means that hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content,
threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will not be tolerated)
and will not be posted.
* Private or Confidential Information. SV will not accept
specific account details or other personal information. If the posting contact has an immediate service need, SV will ask that posting contact to reach out to the appropriate person relating to their request.
4. Seacrest Village reserves the right to change these
guidelines at any time at its sole discretion. The most current
guidelines will be available in this policy and under the SV Business
Account "FaceBook Info" tab .
5. Neither Seacrest Village Retirement Communities, Generations
Management Group, Seacrest Village Foundation endorse any comments made by its employees, residents, family members, contractors, vendors,guests, or the outside community, unless they are an authorized representative of the named, entities of Seacrest Neither Seacrest Village Retirement Communities, Generations Management Group,Seacrest Village Foundation validates assertions or forward-looking statements in the comments. All statements and viewpoints expressed in
the comments are strictly those of the commenter alone, and do not constitute an official position of Seacrest Village Retirement
