As an independent, not-for-profit organization, The Immigrant Learning Center, Inc. (ILC) is focused on thoughtful, pragmatic, fact-based discussion of immigrants’ contributions to the United States. The ILC’s Facebook presence is meant to offer an intelligent, reasoned discourse on this topic. Those who thoughtfully voice their views, share developments of interest and demonstrate respect for other users are invited to participate.

The ILC does not endorse and is not responsible for the comments that are posted on its Facebook wall. Comments will not be removed for editorial reasons nor because posts may be at odds with The ILC’s own views. Comments or links will be removed if they are:

* Off-topic
* Commercial
* Spam
* Misleading or factually incorrect
* Unlawful in nature
* Infringing on copyrights

The Immigrant Learning Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the tax code and as such cannot engage in nor facilitate partisan political activities. As such, comments that are political in nature, advocating support for a particular party or piece of legislation will also be removed.
