Founded in 1930, Ficep headquarters and main plant are located in Gazzada Schianno Italy. It exclusively engages in the engineering and manufacturing of machine tools for the metalworking industry and has become the principal supplier of structural steel and plate fabrication equipment in the world market.
In order to address the sales and service requirements of North America, Ficep founded a new subsidiary, Ficep Corporation, in October 2002. Ficep Corporation, based in Forest Hill, Maryland (outside of Baltimore, Maryland) has sold hundreds of CNC lines. It contains a spare part inventory and Ficep CNC equipment under power for customer training and product demonstration.
Additionally, the facility is utilized to rebuild used equipment and to manufacture complementary material handling elements. Currently, there are 11 other Ficep subsidiaries around the world.
