Community Ventures is a non-profit organization that exists to improve the quality of life for urban and rural residents throughout Kentucky. Our goal is to provide the skills and resources needed to achieve one’s dreams of home ownership, business ownership, and community development.
Founded in 1982, Community Ventures helps people realize their dreams of home ownership, business ownership, and business expansion through our core programs and services: business lending, business education, home financing, and home buyer education. Community Ventures’ clients come from all walks of life, and our services range from foreclosure prevention to buying a home, to small business development training to multi-million dollar community revitalization projects.
We believe in creating lasting improvement in our client’s lives and their communities. That is why we emphasize educational and training programs in home ownership and business. Through building individual skill sets in our clients, we achieve long-term results.
Our Impact: • Helped over 400 families purchase a home • 2,177 families avoided foreclosure • Over 30,000 people have received homebuyer education • 10,633 jobs created • More than 4,700 businesses started or expanded
