CNHED is a dynamic, member-driven 501(c)(3) umbrella organization that supports the nonprofit housing and economic development sector in Washington, DC. Our membership (140+) represents a broad spectrum of entities including affordable housing developers, housing counseling and service agencies, community development corporations, small businesses, lenders, intermediaries, and government agencies. CNHED creates opportunities for members to work together on strategic goals including: - Advocating for resources, programs, and policies that support affordable housing and inclusive economic development - Increasing public awareness of and support for housing affordability and inclusive economic development - Growing the capacity of our members to operate strong, effective organizations - Building a strong, actively engaged membership base that advances CNHED’s mission.
