Since 1963, Thomas Steel Inc. has produced customized construction steel components to the complete satisfaction of major architects, engineers, general contractors, and building owners alike. Our reputation for quality and service at competitive prices has won us coveted contracts for large and diversified projects in a five-state area.

We are active members of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) receiving certifications in Standard Steel Building Structures (STD), Simple Steel Bride Structures (SBR), Major Steel Bridge (CBR), and Sophisticated Paint Endorsements in Enclosed (P-1), Covered (P-2), and Outside (P-3). We are also active members in both the Huron County Safety Council and the Builders Exchange.

Our plant and office are located at 305 Elm St, in Bellevue, Ohio. Our 55,000 sq. ft. production plant contains three fabrication bays each with 2 overheard cranes which allow for expedient movement of raw materials to finish product. Thomas Steel also has 27,000 sq. ft. of exterior crane runway, acres of storage area with rail facilities and a 75 ton crane for material handling. Our well-equipped shop offers many services including sawing, shearing, oxy-fuel cutting, bending, punching and drilling, cambering, shot blasting, painting, computerized cutting, and a new beam line system that guarantees accuracy of all beams and columns within 1/32 of an inch. All of our welders are AWS certified and all lead welders are also certified in AWS and submerged arc welding

Our Estimating and Contract Management teams complement our Fabricating and Project Management teams to ensure a smooth and timely project for each contractor.
