Join the Two Planks Theater folks and the Monroe Economic Development Commission for a lively night of fun. Proceeds from the night will go toward building a Performance Pavillion at Wolfe Park.
ONE NIGHT ONLY!!! A dramatic, staged reading of New York-based Broadway theater critic and playwright Peter Filichia's "Adam's Gifts." Performance starting at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 for pre-show appetizers, courtesy of A Twist of Taste, and featuring a post-show meet-and-greet gathering with the author, with cash bar provided by Carl Anthony's Trattoria. Directed by David Halliwell Starring Jean Budney, John Ponzini, Marc Herman, Jen Sokira, and Will Gallant With thanks to the Monroe Economic Development Commission for support and sponsorship of the event. Note: Space for staged reading generously being donated by Clock Tower Square. Suite number will be determined by tickets sold and capacity. Attendees will receive additional information 24 hours prior to the event.

The Town Clerk’s Office would like to remind residents that Tuesday, April 4th is the Monroe Budget Referendum. Absentee ballots will be available in the Town Clerk’s Office as of March 24, 2017. The Office of the Town Clerk will have extended hours for absentee voting Tuesday, March 28th until 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Persons who believe that they will be unable to vote in person on April 4th may apply for an Absentee Ballot. Acceptable reasons for voting in this manner are limited to the following: a. Absence from Town during ALL the hours of voting (6:00a.m.- 8:00p.m.) b. Service in the Armed Forces (including the Service Academies) c. Illness d. Physical Disability e. Religious tenets which forbid such activity on Election Day Persons with questions are urged to call the Town Clerk’s Office at (203) 452-2811 or email vstone@monroect.org
