The Presbyterian Child Development Center (PCDC) opened its doors more than 40 years ago. From the start of developing PCDC the services provided were not specifically directed to the families of the church but for the entire community. The mission of PCDC is to provide childcare services to working-class families by caring for children from infants to 5 years of age during the daytime hours. There is also an afterschool program for elementary aged children, in addition to a summer care program.
