If you're going to gift a bunny (or chick) for Easter this year, make it a chocolate one- they require little to no care, AND they're delicious!

This little pup has a mighty name; Can you guess what it is??

Baby bunnies have a VERY low chance of survival if being hand-raised, even by veterinary staff. Even experienced wildlife rehabbers have a difficult time with these little guys. So what should you do if you find a seemingly abandoned litter of bunnies? Or what if your dog discovers a nest? The answer: Leave them alone. Mama rabbits leave their babies alone for the majority of the day, so as not to draw predators. Just because mom isn't in sight, does not mean they're abandoned. Even if your dog has found a nest, try to restore the nest the best you can and leave them there; mom will come back and relocate them. If you would like to read more on the topic- here's a great resource: http://rabbit.org/faq-orphaned-baby-bunnies/

Weight loss is hard, but it can be done! Suzi's latest project is her mom's kitty (now living with her at "kitty fat camp"). He weighed in at 17.5 pounds! He still has some lbs to lose but he's making progress, now weighing 15 pounds after a few months of dieting. He's already getting around better and seems much more comfortable at his new weight.
