John-Richard was formed in 1980 as a sideline business to one of the largest retail furniture operations in the Mississippi Delta. Wall decor was the first line introduced, then years later, lighting, produced in a 10,00 square foot space by five employees. The company now produces collections in upholstered furniture, case goods, botanicals, and unique home accessories, but it was the first years that set the course for the artisan approach to manufacturing that John-Richard remains known for today. Now our "home office" includes not only a 500,000 square foot facility in Greenwood, but also offices and factories in Vietnam, China, India and South America, and shows twice yearly from our showroom in High Point, NC at the International Home Furnishings Market.
