The Community After School Program, a local non-profit agency, works in partnership with Norman Public Schools to provide a safe and enriching after school program to students in grades pre-K through 5th at 17 NPS elementary schools. CASP, a United Way partner agency, provides health and nutrition programming at nine program sites, as well as tutoring (11 sites) and homework help at each of its programs. All CASP programs offer a slate of self-directed options including art projects, board games, outdoor play, creative play and group time as part of its daily routine.
The Community After School Program emphasizes opportunities for physical activities, self-expression though arts and crafts, and socialization with peers in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
