The software has two versions: ScaleQ Advantage is the standardized product, offering configuration options for tuning, thereby limiting the need for customization and making it easy to install and easy to support. ScaleQ Exclusive supports detailed application-specific customizations to address specialized projects or unique requirements, especially for enterprise customers.

Fully integrated reports mine the transaction history for management information that can help you to run your business smartly. The wizard-driven report generator simplifies designing reports, whether they are quick daily summaries or more complex quarterly or yearly trending reports to help you identify your best customers and top-selling products. Reports can be run on demand or scheduled for after-hours output.

Security for your business information and your yard continues to evolve as regulatory mandates proliferate. Access to the database as well as to software modules and functionality are password protected. An audit trail protects transaction history. Moreover, the yard itself can be monitored with video image capture, digital signature pads and scale activity checking.

Loadout software and hardware for the asphalt and aggregates industries offers automated control functions to improve the speed, accuracy and efficiency of bulk material shipping. Loadout control may be interfaced with either motor truck platform scales or weigh hopper scales.

Off-the-shelf computers running Microsoft XP are the workstations of choice. Standard TCP/IP networking protocols perform communication. Other Bulk Weighing

Two examples of other bulk weighing solutions ILS has provided are for the wood and paper industry and for barge terminal management.

At wood chip mills where pulp is made for paper plants, logged trees are weighed and the type of wood tracked. At the paper mill, chips and pulp are weighed in and tracked with inventory control.

Scale management at barge terminals handles reception, stockpiling and distribution of grain, salt, aggregate and other materials being shipped to a dock for transloading onto a barge for shipment.
