Help4Kids / Backpack Buddies is a 100% volunteer organization that relies solely on donations. Children should not go to school hungry or without proper clothing, shoes or school supplies. We believe going to school prepared will help them learn and be better able to finish school and go beyond the cycle of poverty into which they were born. In addition, children should not be hungry during the summer when school is out and they have no access to breakfast and lunch. We believe children should have the opportunity to grow, learn and be a child for as long as they can while receiving the basic needs as all other children. Every dollar collected goes for the kids. This year we are celebrating 25 years of feeding hungry children.
