Description Yaks on the 5 is the latest installment of a journey into specialty coffee and food that humbly began over 10 years ago. Spring of 2013 marked the biggest change in the Yaks family since its inception. We currently operate 2 stores in Northern California: Yaks on the 5 located in Dunsmuir and Yaks in Mt Shasta. The Mt Shasta store represents 10 years worth of work on food and drinks. In the Shasta store all of your favorite Yaks offerings from breakfast burritos to bagels to espresso and Panini’s, to Salads and our homemade Chai tea and of course cinnamon rolls sticky buns and more. Yaks in Dunsmuir is our first full restaurant. We offer gourmet breakfasts, burgers, bagels and brews. Soon to come will be the largest selection of artisan microbrews in the northstate.
