The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library is funded by the Grundy Foundation. It is free and open to the public.
The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library was established by the late Senator Joseph R. Grundy in memory of his sister, Margaret R. Grundy. According to his last will and testament, the resources of the Bristol Free Library were to be secured with the erection of a new facility, The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library. The library was erected in its current location, overlooking the Delaware River, on Friday, June 24, 1966.
Adjoining the library is the former Grundy home, which is now a museum. The library and museum are funded and operated by the Trustees of The Grundy Foundation.
