Oak Grove United Methodist Church

Oak Grove UMC of Oak Grove, Oregon, was founded over 100 years ago. Our Sunday services are spirited and traditional, focusing on participation through the spoken word, music and prayer. We celebrate our Lord's gift of music with four musical groups that regularly participate in our worship services.

We believe we have a mission to fulfill in our community and in the world at large. We care about all people and we support many ministries that are in mission to our community, our country and the world, including feeding the hungry locally. We strive to make the world a better place through our service and support. We also care about each other and we have care-checkers who look in on members of our congregation who are ill or homebound.

We are a warm and caring church and there is a place for you among us - in our congregation on Sundays, in our Sunday School classes (for both adults and children), in our men's Bible study group, in any of our several women's groups, in our choirs, in our youth groups, in our church you're comfortable.

If you're new to the area or for any other reason are looking for a new church, please visit us! Newcomers are invited to join us in our Fellowship Hall for refreshments, which are served both before and after our 10:30AM worship service. There you could mingle with church members and ask any questions you may have about our church. Also, if you'd like, a church member could accompany you to the service. We would love the opportunity to tell you about all that we have to offer!
