Since 1968, the Literacy Council of Reading-Berks has helped thousands of adults gain skills essential for survival. These skills are taught through the council's well-trained network of professional instructors and more than 100 volunteers.
Instruction is tailored to individual needs, available to adults privately and/or in ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at two locations.
The Literacy Council helps adults to develop or refine skills in reading, writing, math, ESL, computers, and workforce education.
