Meet the Campbells! Along with their camera-shy parents, these siblings and cousins come in weekly this summer to help us with various projects like packing summer food bags, and repackaging beverages and pet food. They prove that even 5-year-olds can give back to their community :) Sometimes they even bring friends! Thanks you, guys!

Little known facts of food shelf life: there is a ton of cardboard generated. This huge dumpster is emptied twice a week and Gary, being the trooper that he is, still sometimes has to jump in to squish down for more room!

Once again, Gordon's Greenhouse of Ramsey has showered us with beautiful vegetables to plant! So far we have had over 2,200 plants donated! There is a huge variety of tomatoes, peppers, broccoli and cauliflower, and plenty of other vegetables! Our families have been so thankful and all the plants go in a couple days. Thank you Gordon's Gardens Greenhouse!

People & Pets Together donated over 1,100 pounds of dog food, wet and dry! We go through a lot of pet food each week. We have amazing volunteers who repackage the 40 pound bags into smaller amounts. Pet owners are so happy to receive them!

Thank you to North Suburban Women's Club for their generous donation to ACBC Food Shelf! We were invited to their 50th Annual Spring Gala this April, and our lovely retired volunteer, Lavonne Lee-Bean was one of the beautiful models for the event! The NSWC regularly supports ACBC with funds and drives for needed items like socks, underwear, diapers, etc. Thank you for all of your support, North Suburban Women's Club!
