The Teton Valley new was founded in 1909 and has endured many changes in its almost century of publication.
On January of 2006 Pioneer Newspapers Inc. of Seattle acquired the paper from its previous owner, Grand Teton News. Grand Teton News group of Wyoming family owners included Gary and Sue Stevenson, Robb and Jen Hicks, and Tom and Annie previous owners of the Teton Valley News included Vern Craver in the 1990s and Fred and Elizabeth McCabe of Jackson, Wyoming.
in November 2017, Adams Publishing purchased the Teton Valley News from Pioneer Newspapers.
Adams Publishing Group, also known as APG, owns and operates 100 community newspapers in 11 states, including the acquisition of five newspaper publishing companies in 2016. The company is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
