Special Olympics Nebraska was founded in 1972 to offer numerous opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. We now serve more than 7,500 individuals in more than 110 communities and in numerous classrooms throughout Nebraska.
Sports opportunities are offered based on four geographic regions. Our athletes compete at the regional level striving for first, second or third place in order to advance to any state level competition.
Leadership opportunities for participants are offered by contacting the state office and community-changing opportunities are offered through Unified Champion School programming.
The state office is located at 9427 F Street, Omaha, NE 68127
